Neidlein Face Drivers and Centers from LMC

LMC offers their full line of Neidlein face drivers and Neidlein centers. Neidlein drivers allow the entire OD of a workpiece to be machined in a single operation which helps increase productivity, quality and cost efficiency. Manufactured in conjunction with Neidlein Spannzeuge GmbH of Germany, LMC produces tapered shank and flange-mount drivers, as well as Neidlein face drivers with fixed centers (FFB) and Neidlein Pipe Drivers (NDG) to suit a variety of needs. All provide complete machining in one clamping, no movement of the datum point, high concentric accuracy and easy exchange of pins and centers to simplify operation.

LMC’s Neidlein live center offers an economic means of performing every day lathe operations. The live center features strong bearings, guaranteed accuracy of .0002 in T.I.R., hardened center points and precision crafted tools. Neidlein Ultra live centers are designed specifically for high thrust operations. The heavy-duty center was designed to handle heavier cutting depths, larger workpieces and high precision grinders. The Ultra live center also features high performance bearings, guaranteed accuracy of .0001 in T.I.R., as well as an extracting nut for easy removal of the center from the tailstock. LMC’s Neidlein dead centers for rotating tailstock sleeves are also described. The dead centers are also fully-hardened and ground, offer a guaranteed accuracy of .00007 in T.I.R. and are available in special dimensions.
