Lightweight Wheel Chucks from LMC Workholding

The Ultra Series Lightweight Chuck from LMC Workholding are lightweight for increased spindle life and faster cycle times. The lightweight chucks are available in two different models, US-1420 and US-1524.

Model US-1420, for passenger cars and light trucks, features a wheel diameter capacity of 14” to 20” and a maximum RPM of 2800. Model number US-1524, for passenger cars, light trucks, trucks and buses, has a wheel diameter capacity of 15” to 24.5” and a 2200 maximum RPM.

An optional part detection system is available for sensing if a workpiece is properly seated, a key component for automatic/robot loaded applications. Many other tooling options are available and are specific to individual wheels.

LMC Workholding chucks accommodate wheel diameters from 11” to 24.5” and turn wheels for automobiles, trucks, buses and motorcycles more efficiently than other clamping methods.
