Workholding offers multiple models and sizes of Pin Arbor Chucks.
Our PB Chuck is suited to holding round workpieces with flat surfaces (IE: machining brake disc rotors). When flat faced, large diameter parts need to be faced or bored out, often the application calls for the force on the radial surface to be minimized. Because the PB Chuck offers a pull-down feature and radial clamping feature, excessive clamping force and distortion is nearly eliminated.
The PB Chuck is offered standard in 5", 6", 8" and 10" sizes. It can be supplied with air, coolant through the chuck, or both air and coolant.
